| The outer layer is Minky – a warm, incredibly soft yet durable fabric that’s just like wearing a hug. It is amazingly soft, plush, and drapes beautifully. Colors are far sharper and more vivid than fleece fabric. The inner shell is Polartec™ 300 weight fleece. Polartec™ is the same warm, premium weight fleece found in human winter wear.
The coat is generous, covering the hindquarters for warmth. A breast piece comes through the front legs and protects the entire chest area – great if your dog is curled up in a crate waiting for you. The collar is also soft Minky that drapes beautifully into ripples down the neck or folds back for a traditional collar. Two sizes are available – Medium and Large. The medium fits most whippets up to 32 pounds. The larger coat is for the males, or a girl with a longer body. It fits whippets up to 40 pounds. And a big bonus is that Minky is easy to care for – wash in warm or cold water and dry in a medium dryer. |
